The Chicago Slice started strong in women’s doubles. Callie Smith and Vivian Glozman defeated Tina Pisnik and Kaitlyn Christian 11-7 to give Chicago an early lead.
In men’s doubles, James Ignatowich and Max Freeman continued the momentum with a close 11-9 win over Eric Oncins and Wyatt Stone. That gave the Chicago Slice a 2-0 lead in the match.
However, the Texas Ranchers answered back in mixed doubles. In the first mixed match, Kaitlyn Christian and Wyatt Stone edged out Vivian Glozman and Max Freeman 13-11 in a tight game.
