2025 MLP San Diego Playoffs: Major League Pickleball (MLP) will hold its 2025 Toray MLP Playoffs for the first time in San Diego, California. The event takes place from August 15 to 17 at Barnes Tennis Center. This important weekend decides which teams advance to the DoorDash MLP Finals in New York City from August 22 to 25.

Premier Level Playoffs
The top 10 Premier Level teams qualify for the playoffs, seeded from 1 to 10 based on their regular season points. In the first round, seeds 7 through 10 play single-elimination matches. The higher seeds get to pick their opponents from the lower seeds. Winners from this round are re-seeded as 7 and 8 for the second round.
In the second round, seeds 1 through 6 join the two winners. This round is a best-of-three series where higher seeds choose their opponents from seeds 5 to 8. The winners of this round will move on to the semifinals, which will be held in New York City.
Challenger Level Playoffs
All six Challenger Level teams make the playoffs and are seeded 1 to 6. Seeds 3 to 6 compete in the first round with single-elimination matches. Higher seeds select their opponents.
In the semifinals, seeds 1 and 2 join the winners from the first round. This round is also a best-of-three series where higher seeds pick their opponents. The semifinal winners will advance to the finals in New York City.
