Northwest Regional Pickleball Showdown Washington: The Dink Minor League Pickleball, hosted by ZZ2~Washington, will take place from August 22 to 24, 2025, at Pickleball Kingdom in Lynnwood, Washington. Registration closes on August 19, 2025, and players must sign up as a team to compete in this amateur event.
Event Format
The tournament will follow the MLPlay™ format, where teams of four (two men and two women) face off in a series of four 21-point games. Matches include one women’s doubles game, one men’s doubles game, and two mixed doubles games.
If the score is tied at 2-2 after four games, the match goes to a Dreambreaker™ tiebreaker. In this format, one player from each team plays singles rallies, switching every four points until a team wins 21-19 or by two points.
DUPR Divisions
Teams will be grouped into divisions based on their DUPR ratings:
DUPR 20 (up to 20.99 team rating)
DUPR 18 (up to 18.30 team rating, max 5.10 individual)
DUPR 16 (up to 16.30 team rating, max 4.60 individual)
DUPR 14 (up to 14.30 team rating, max 4.10 individual)
DUPR 12 (up to 12.30 team rating, max 3.60 individual)
Once registered, team ratings are locked. A DUPR account is required, though new players without ratings may still join after verification by the tournament director.
Registration Details
The cost to enter is $0.00 per player, but sign-up must be completed by full teams. Single registrations are allowed, but players must note their team name and division. Those without a team may be placed on one by the tournament director. If placement is not possible, fees will be refunded.
Substitute players are permitted, but their ratings cannot push the team above the maximum division rating.
Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 15 days before the tournament to qualify for a refund, minus a $5 technology fee and a 3% processing fee. Players who register individually but are not placed on a team will be refunded after the event ends.

The event highlights the rising popularity of Minor League Pickleball across the United States. Its fun, social, and team-oriented format gives amateur players a chance to compete while helping expand the sport at the grassroots level.
