Dink Minor League Pickleball Hendersonville Tournament: The Dink Minor League Pickleball tournament will be held at Pickleball Kingdom Hendersonville in Tennessee on August 23–24, 2025. Registration is open until August 19, and players must sign up as teams. The entry fee is $75 per player. The tournament will be hosted by Steven Kilbas.
Tournament Format
The Dink Minor League Pickleball uses the MLPlay™ team competition format. Each team is made up of four players—two women and two men. Teams compete in four games per match: one women’s doubles, one men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles. All games are played to 21 points, win by two.
If both teams are tied at 2-2 after four games, they will play a Dreambreaker™. In this tiebreaker, one player from each team competes in singles, with teammates switching every four rallies until one team reaches 21 points and wins by two.
Tournament Schedule
Matches begin at 8:00 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. All games will follow official Minor League Pickleball rules and use DUPR divisions to ensure fair competition.
DUPR Divisions
Teams are divided into skill divisions based on their aggregate DUPR rating. Divisions include DUPR 20, DUPR 18, DUPR 16, DUPR 14, and DUPR 12. Each division has a cap on individual player ratings to maintain competitive balance. Once registered, a team’s DUPR ratings are locked and cannot be changed before the event.
Players must have a DUPR account to register. Unrated players may still compete, but their skill levels will be verified by the tournament director.
Team and Individual Registrations
Players may register as a team or as individuals. If registering individually, players must list their team name and division if already on a roster. Those who want to participate but cannot form a team will be placed on one by the tournament director, if possible. Players not assigned to a team will receive a refund.
Substitutions
Teams needing a substitute player may update their roster online or contact the tournament organizer. Substitutes must not raise the team’s total DUPR rating above the division maximum.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available if players cancel at least 15 days before the event, minus a $5 technology fee and 3% processing fee. After that deadline, no refunds will be issued. Individual players who are not placed on a team will be refunded within 3–5 business days after the tournament ends.
