Dink Minor League Pickleball Fort Worth: The Dink Minor League Pickleball tournament will be held on August 30–31, 2025, at The Picklr West Fort Worth in White Settlement, Texas. Hosted by Danielle Little, the event will feature competitive team-based play in multiple DUPR divisions, offering a unique format that blends men’s and women’s matches.
Event Details
The competition takes place at 1705 South Cherry Lane, with registration open until August 27, 2025. The entry fee is $65 per player, and players must sign up as a team.
On Saturday, August 30, matches include DUPR 12 at 11 a.m., DUPR 16 at 12 p.m., and DUPR 14 (50+) at 1 p.m. On Sunday, August 31, DUPR 14 begins at 11 a.m., DUPR 16 (50+) at 12 p.m., and DUPR 18 at 1 p.m.
Format and Gameplay
The event follows the MLPlay™ format, designed to make pickleball more engaging and social. Each team includes four players, with two men and two women. Matches consist of four 21-point games: one women’s doubles, one men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles.
If teams are tied 2–2 after four games, the match will move into a Dreambreaker™, where players rotate every four rallies in singles until one side wins by two points.
Division Rules
Teams are placed into DUPR divisions ranging from 12 to 20, based on their combined ratings. For example, DUPR 20 teams cannot exceed a 20.99 total rating, while DUPR 12 teams cannot go over 12.30. Maximum individual player ratings are also capped for each division.
Once a team registers, its DUPR rating is locked. Players must have a DUPR account to register, though unrated players may participate with approval from the tournament director.
Single and Substitute Players
Individuals can register as part of a team by noting the team name and division. If a player does not have a team, the director will try to place them. If placement is not possible, the player will receive a refund.
Teams may also substitute players, provided the replacement does not push the team’s rating above the division limit.
Refund Policy
Players who cancel at least 15 days before the tournament will receive a refund minus a $5 technology fee and a 3% processing fee. No refunds are given for cancellations made within 15 days of the start date. Individual players not placed on a team will be refunded in full, minus fees, within 3–5 business days after the event ends.
