Event Format and Schedule
The tournament will feature the innovative MLPlay format, designed to create a level playing field for men and women. Teams of four—comprising two men and two women—will face off in a series of matches, with each match consisting of four 21-point games: women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles. If teams are tied at 2-2, the match proceeds to a Dreambreaker, a thrilling singles showdown where players rotate every four rallies until one team reaches 21 points, securing the win.

Rules and Registration Details
The tournament will operate under strict DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) guidelines, ensuring a balanced competition across various skill levels. Teams must meet specific aggregate DUPR thresholds, with maximum individual ratings capped to maintain fairness. Once registered, a team’s rating is locked, and any changes in individual player ratings will not affect the team’s placement.
Participants who register individually but are not part of a pre-formed team can still join the event. Tournament organizers will do their best to place solo players on teams, and in cases where this is not possible, refunds will be provided.
Access and Participation
Life Time Westchester offers a unique guest policy for this event. Non-members can participate with a complimentary one-day pass, while spectators can either purchase a guest pass or attend as a guest of a member.
