The Oklahoma Paddle Royale 009 will host The Dink Minor League Pickleball competition on January 18-19, 2025, at DPC Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This innovative and fun amateur pickleball event is set to feature teams of four players (2 women and 2 men) competing in a unique team-based format.

The MLPlay Format
Teams will compete in a series of four 21-point games, with the following match-ups:
- Women’s Doubles
- Men’s Doubles
- Two Mixed Doubles
If teams are tied 2-2 after the four games, a Dreambreaker will be played. This involves one player from each team competing in singles, with players switching every four rallies until one team reaches 21 points and wins by two.

DUPR Divisions
Teams are divided by their DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating), with the following division caps:
- DUPR 20 (team total ≤ 20.99)
- DUPR 18 (team total ≤ 18.30)
- DUPR 16 (team total ≤ 16.30)
- DUPR 14 (team total ≤ 14.30)
- DUPR 12 (team total ≤ 12.30)
Once a team registers, their ratings are locked for the event.
How to Register
Participants must have a DUPR account to register. Players who sign up individually and are already on a team should include their team name and DUPR division when registering. For players who don’t have a team, the tournament director will do their best to place them on a team. Refunds will be given for players who aren’t placed.
Substitute Players
Teams can substitute players if needed. The substitute’s DUPR must not push the team’s total over the division cap. Teams can update their roster online or contact the tournament organizer to submit substitution details.
