Rachel Rohrabacher and James Ignatowich Upset No. 2 Seeds in Mixed Doubles Quarterfinals at PPA Masters

Rachel Rohrabacher and James Ignatowich secured their spot in the mixed doubles semifinals at the Zimmer Biomet Masters powered by Invited with a hard-fought 11-6, 11-8 victory over No. 2 seeds Jorja Johnson and JW Johnson. The match was played on Friday at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California.

A Challenging Path to Victory

The match wasn’t without drama. Rohrabacher and Ignatowich faced a tough challenge, especially in Game 2. Trailing 7-8, Ignatowich suffered a back injury, prompting a medical timeout. Despite the setback, he was able to return and finish the match alongside his partner, closing out the win in two games.
