Jack Sock and Eugenie Bouchard Fall Short: Quarterfinals at the PPA The Masters in Palm Springs saw Jack Sock and Eugenie Bouchard eliminated in straight sets. Sock lost to second seed Connor Garnett, while Bouchard was defeated by Kaitlyn Christian. Both matches were over quickly, with Sock’s match lasting 29 minutes and Bouchard’s 28 minutes.

Garnett’s Strong Performance

Connor Garnett, a former hitting partner for Novak Djokovic, won his quarterfinal match 11-2, 11-8, against Jack Sock. The match, lasting only 29 minutes, showcased Garnett’s strong form as he advances to the semifinals. Garnett has been a pickleball pro since 2022 and is now in his third year on tour.

Bouchard Falls to Christian

Eugenie Bouchard was knocked out by Kaitlyn Christian in a quick 28-minute match. Christian, a former WTA doubles pro and winner of the WTA 250 Guadalajara title in 2022, turned to pickleball last year. She now moves on to the semifinals, where she will face Catherine Parenteau.

Waters Moves Forward

Top seed Anna Leigh Waters continues her strong performance, advancing to the semifinals in both doubles brackets. She and her mixed doubles partner, world No. 1 Ben Johns, are in great form, while Johns continues his men’s doubles journey with his brother Collin.
