2025 Australia Pickleball Open Women’s Doubles: Lacy Schneemann and Vivian Glozman emerged victorious in Women’s Pro Doubles at the 2025 Australia Pickleball Open, capturing the gold medal after a commanding performance in the final. They defeated Hurricane Tyra Black and Allyce Jones, who settled for silver in a four-game match.

Semifinals and Upsets: The Road to the Final

As expected, the top three US-based teams advanced to the semifinals with ease. Kaitlyn Christian, who partnered with local pro-Andie Dikosavljevic to form the No. 4 seed, faced an unexpected challenge in the quarterfinals from the young Australian team of Emilia Schmidt and Danni-Elle Townsend.

The U21 players put up a strong fight, upending Christian and Dikosavljevic to make a statement for the future of Australian Pickleball.

Meanwhile, Tyra Black and Allyce Jones, the No. 1 seeds, comfortably advanced past Schmidt and Townsend with a 6-5 win. In the other semifinal, Lacy Schneemann and Vivian Glozman defeated Jessie Irvine and Alix Truong in a tightly contested match, 7-6, setting the stage for an all-USA final.

A Gold Medal Finish for Schneemann and Glozman

In the final, Schneemann and Glozman dominated the early games, taking a 2-0 lead before dropping the third. However, they bounced back to win the gold medal in the fourth game, securing a 7-3, (7), 9 victory over Black and Jones.
