Event Overview

Each team is guaranteed at least four matches, and teams in brackets with fewer than five teams will be merged to ensure fair competition.
The cost for registration is $80, which includes two events. Players who wish to compete in a third event will incur an additional $40 fee. Registration opens on February 7, 2025, and closes on September 27, 2025. Those who register by September 21, 2025, will receive a free tournament shirt.
How to Qualify for the World Championships
The Kentucky Championships are part of the “2025 Amateur Pickleball State Championship Series.” Gold, silver, and bronze medalists will earn free or discounted registration to the World Championships in Dallas.
Additionally, all medalists from these state championships will earn spots at the 2025/26 Southern Championships in Macon, Georgia.
Pickleball Tournament Format
The competition will follow a round-robin format, with medal brackets or elimination rounds depending on the number of teams in each bracket.
Teams in brackets with fewer than eight teams may be merged to create playable divisions. The event will be self-monitored, and referees will be available upon request.
Registration Details
Participants can register and identify their partner, or request a “Need partner” option. Both players must register within five days, or the team will be moved to the waitlist.
The registration fee includes two events, with an additional $40 for a third event. After September 21, 2025, a $15 late registration fee will apply.
Refund Policy
Players who withdraw before September 13, 2025, will receive a refund minus a $20 administrative fee. After September 13, no refunds will be issued unless a player has purchased weather and injury insurance.
