A Return to the Top
Todd showcased an exceptional level of play, consistently landing sharp passing shots as Christian attempted to control the net.
Her dominance was evident from the start, allowing her to cruise to victory in straight games. This win brings Todd back to the winner’s circle, her first major title since defeating Anna Leigh Waters at the 2022 Orange County Cup.
Reflecting on her success, Todd credited her training partner and boyfriend, Hunter Johnson, for his role in her preparation.
“Honestly when I’m training with him and then going to play against girls, I never feel like the ball is too big because Hunter hits the ball so hard. Every time I go into a match, I feel good, and my timing feels good. I owe a lot of that to him training with me.” – (todd)

Todd’s tournament is not over yet. She will return to the court for the women’s doubles bronze medal match alongside Tyra Black, facing Meghan Dizon and Etta Tuionetoa.
Meanwhile, in the women’s singles bronze medal match, Kate Fahey secured third place with an 11-7, 11-1 win over Brooke Buckner.
