“Is kinda weird but there are some points in, like, matches where I just get this, like, feeling, like, it’s like an electric, like, feeling. And when we won that point at eight eight, I was, like, I wanted that feeling and I was, like, trying to get the crowd to pump me up and then I, like, felt it and then I saw my dad and he’s, like, play with your heart, play with your heart.” – (Waters)
“And I’m, like, yeah, let’s, like let’s go, let’s go. So and I was starting to feel good and that’s when I get into the mode where I’m like just give me every ball, like I want every ball. And I felt like just that pressure was, like, making me play better, not necessarily them noticing that.” – (Waters)

“That’s just something that comes from me. So I really think that using the crowd because then the Anna and Rachel, even though the crowd, I felt like, was fifty fifty in that moment, they were for us. And Rachel and Anna maybe were thinking, like, oh, shoot. Like, the crowd’s against us now. Like, so I don’t know.” – (Waters)

“It was one time by myself. I went to the bench like that myself. I know for sure I mean the energy was great. I mean the whole match and I don’t know there’s just something like I said in the interview at the end, there’s something about a l’s energy specifically that’s so contagious like Like, when she’s, like I see her, like, she’s taking that third and she’s going in, and it’s just, like, it just pumps me up as well.” – (Parenteau)
