Alshon Stresses the Importance of Communication
With limited experience as a team, Staksrud and Alshon have quickly developed strong on-court chemistry. Alshon, who will also compete for men’s singles gold on Sunday, highlighted the role of communication in their success.
“I think we were able to build chemistry throughout our matches as the day went on,” Alshon said. “We just tried very hard to communicate well. It’s huge to communicate with your partner, and I think we do a really good job of that.”
Championship Showdown Against Johns and Daescu
Staksrud and Alshon now prepare for a high-stakes final against No. 1 seeds Ben Johns and Andrei Daescu. Both teams have been dominant throughout the tournament, setting the stage for an electrifying battle on Championship Sunday.
