However, the momentum shifted in Game 2, as Black and Jones showcased their signature defensive skills and athleticism to take a 10-6 lead, putting them within one point of forcing a third game.
Just when a deciding game seemed inevitable, Waters and Parenteau found their rhythm, winning six consecutive points to close out the match in under 40 minutes.

Waters Praises Black’s Aggressive Play
Waters acknowledged Black’s impressive performance in the second game, crediting her aggressive shot-making and relentless court coverage.
“In the second game, Tyra was just going balls to the wall,” Waters said. “She was speeding up, playing super aggressive, taking a lot of the court, and we really had to adjust to that and try to figure out ways to get the ball behind her and attack when we could.”
Championship Clash Against Bright and Rohrabacher
Waters and Parenteau will now face No. 2 seeds Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher in the gold medal match. Both teams have been dominant throughout the tournament, setting up a highly anticipated final between the top two seeds.
