In the deciding third game, Sock trailed 6-8 but found his rhythm in crucial moments, using his powerful forehand to close out the win and avenge last year’s defeat.

Sock credited his success to maintaining a relaxed mindset on the court.
“I’ve said from the beginning that if you’re not having fun playing pickleball when you’re out here doing this as a career, then something’s wrong. So, I try to enjoy every moment. I think when I’m loose and kind of having fun is when I play my best anyway.” – (sock)
