The #1 seeds Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau secured their place in the quarterfinals with a victory over Genie Bouchard and Genie Erokina. They will now face one of the best defensive teams in the field, Jade Kawamoto and Vivienne David.

Meanwhile, the two teams responsible for Round of 16 upsets, Kaitlyn Christian/Christa Gecheva and sisters Maggie Brascia/Mary Brascia, will face off for a chance to advance to Semifinal Saturday. The Brascia sisters defeated #8 seeds Callie Smith and Lindsey Newman to reach this stage.
