Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau vs. Parris Todd and Lacy Schneemann at 2025 Veolia North Carolina Open Semifinals!

Top-seeded Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau will meet Parris Todd and Lacy Schneemann in a highly anticipated women’s doubles semifinal at the 2025 PPA Tour: Veolia North Carolina Open, following straight-game victories in their quarterfinal matches on Friday.

The semifinal is set for Saturday at Cary Tennis Park, where both duos will battle for a chance to play in the women’s doubles final.

Waters and Parenteau Cruise Past Fahey and Pisnik

In one of the cleanest performances of the day, Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau defeated No. 8 seeds Kate Fahey and Tina Pisnik with a commanding 11-3, 11-7 win. Their aggressive style and on-court chemistry helped them maintain control throughout the match. The win continues a strong run for the No. 1 seeds, who have been dominant throughout the tournament.

Todd and Schneemann Take Down Jansen and Humberg

On the other side of the bracket, No. 4 seeds Parris Todd and Lacy Schneemann earned their semifinal spot by beating No. 7 seeds Lea Jansen and Mari Humberg in straight games 11-7, 11-4.

Their smart shot selection and quick movement helped them control rallies and close out both games efficiently.

Semifinal Clash Ahead

Saturday’s semifinal between Waters/Parenteau and Todd/Schneemann will showcase two of the tournament’s strongest teams.

Both duos have yet to drop a game in the event, setting the stage for a close and competitive battle. The winner will advance to the gold medal match on Championship Sunday.
