Todd Takes Control Late
With the match lasting just over an hour, Todd stormed back by scoring the last ten points of the match to take the win.
“I felt like sides were playing a big role in this match, and I’m glad that I was able to choose the correct side,”. “I felt like I started on the bad side, so I knew that if I just weathered the storm that I’d be able to come back and that I would end the third game on the good side.”(Parris Todd )
Her decision proved crucial in the final stages of the match.
Another Shot at the Title
The win sends Todd into her second consecutive women’s singles final on the PPA Tour. She will face No. 2 seed Kate Fahey in Sunday’s championship match.
