ATP Defense in Men’s Doubles
In men’s doubles finals, 32 ATP shots were attempted. Of those, 19 were “clean winners” or not returned (60%). The other 13 ATPs were defended successfully, continuing the rally at 40%.
ATP Defense in Women’s Doubles
In women’s doubles finals, players hit 13 ATPs. Only 5 shots ended as “clean winners” or were not returned (38%). Meanwhile, 8 ATPs were defended successfully, with a 62% success rate.
ATP Defense in Mixed Doubles
Mixed doubles finals saw 44 ATPs hit into the opponent’s court. Out of these, 19 were “clean winners” or not returned (43%). The other 25 were defended successfully, continuing the rally at 57%.
Overall Doubles Performance
Across all doubles finals, 89 ATP shots were attempted. Of these, 43 were either “clean winners” or not returned (48.3%). The remaining 46 ATPs were defended successfully, giving a 51.7% defense rate. This result is similar to the 52% defense rate recorded through the first 13 tournaments of 2024.
