Brandon French and Wyatt Stone Stun Top Seeds at 2025 Veolia Atlanta Pickleball Championships Men’s Singles

Brandon French and Wyatt Stone Stun Top Seeds: Brandon French and Wyatt Stone scored surprise wins on Tuesday morning at the 2025 Veolia Atlanta Pickleball Championships presented by Ensure Max Protein. Competing in men’s singles, they each upset higher-seeded players to move into the Round of 32 at Life Time Peachtree Corners. French is seeded No. 46 and Stone No. 45.

Upset Wins Kick Off Singles Play

Brandon French set the tone with a straight-game win over No. 19 seed Yates Johnson. He stayed strong in both games, winning 11-6, 11-9. Minutes later, Wyatt Stone followed up with a three-game win of his own.

He beat No. 17 seed Rafa Hewett by scores of 11-3, 8-11, 11-8. Both matches showed how players outside the top 40 can still make a strong impact early in a big tournament.
