Juan Benitez and Cason Campbell Stun Rivals in Thrilling 2025 Veolia Atlanta Pickleball Championships Comeback

Juan Benitez and Cason Campbell earned a hard-fought win on Tuesday at Life Time Peachtree Corners, defeating Wes Burrows and Danny Jensen in three games at the 2025 Veolia Atlanta Pickleball Championships presented by Ensure Max Protein. The No. 34 seeds won 11-3, 9-11, 11-7 to reach the Round of 32.

Long Battle to the Finish

In the last men’s doubles match of the day, Juan Benitez and Cason Campbell started strong, taking the first game 11-3 against No. 29 seeds Wes Burrows and Danny Jensen.

In the second game, the score was tied 9-9, but Burrows and Jensen held their nerve and pushed the match to a third game.

The deciding game saw Benitez and Campbell fall behind 5-7. But they bounced back with strong play, scoring six points in a row to win the match after more than an hour on court.
