Anna Bright and Anna Leigh Waters advanced to the women’s doubles quarterfinals Thursday at the 2025 Veolia Atlanta Pickleball Championships presented by Ensure Max Protein. Their opponents, No. 13 seeds Layne Sleeth and Andrea Koop, withdrew due to a hip injury suffered by Koop before their Round of 16 match at Life Time Peachtree Corners.
Because of the withdrawal, Waters and Bright moved forward without playing. They are scheduled to play either No. 5 seeds Callie Smith and Allyce Jones or No. 10 seeds Etta Tuionetoa and Vivienne David in the quarterfinals on Friday.
