Markquart Motors Senior Open: The Professional Pickleball Association, Visit Eau Claire, and Go Chippewa County will host the Markquart Motors Senior Open alongside the Wisconsin PPA Challenger Tournament from July 24 to 27, 2025. The tournaments will take place at Lake Hallie Pickleball at Gower Park and Northstar Middle School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Exciting Competition for All Ages
The Wisconsin PPA Challenger Senior Open is open to all players aged 50 and above. Events will include doubles and mixed doubles matches. Registration is open, and all senior pro and amateur participants will receive a ground pass as part of their entry.
Spectator tickets are also available for $15. These ground passes allow family, friends, and fans to enjoy the matches in person. More details on brackets and match schedules are available on the official event page.
Record Prize Pool for Senior Players
The event will offer a $20,000 prize pool for the Senior Open, provided by Markquart Motors. This is the biggest prize pool in the PPA senior touring division so far. The funds are meant to attract top senior pro talent to the region.

Support for Aspiring Pros
The Wisconsin PPA Challenger Series will also offer a $15,000 prize purse, thanks to the Professional Pickleball Association and Nicolet Law. This event helps amateur players grow and offers them a chance to move up to the Carvana PPA Tour, the top-level professional pickleball circuit.
Building the Game in the Chippewa Valley
Bringing this tournament to the Chippewa Valley helps grow interest in the sport locally. With strong support from businesses and sports groups, the tournament aims to highlight Eau Claire as a new hub for pickleball in the Midwest.
