Anna Leigh Waters Pickleball Triple Crown: Anna Leigh Waters defeated Catherine Parenteau 11-6, 11-1 to win the women’s singles final at the 2025 Select Medical Orange County Cup. The match took place Sunday on Humana Championship Court at Life Time Rancho San Clemente in Southern California.

This win gave Anna Leigh Waters her 35th career Triple Crown on the PPA Tour.

A Rematch With a Familiar Result

The match was a repeat of last year’s final, and once again, Anna Leigh Waters came out on top. Catherine Parenteau, seeded No. 7, started strong with a 6-3 lead in the first game. But Anna Leigh Waters then won 19 of the last 20 points of the match.

Quotes from the Finalists

“I just love it here,” Waters said. “It reminds me a lot of Delray Beach, where I’m from. I think the food’s amazing. Catherine Parenteau also had a strong showing this week. She reached her first singles final since the 2024 Orange County Cup and won silver in women’s doubles with Rachel Rohrabacher.

“I’m really proud of the way I competed this whole week. I had some really good wins,” Parenteau said. “Congrats to Anna Leigh. This is why she’s No. 1.”

What It Means Going Forward
