The New Jersey State Open will take place from July 11 to July 13, 2025, at Veterans Park in Hamilton, New Jersey. As a Professional Pickleball Association National Qualifier, the tournament offers medals, national entries, and a $5,000 prize pool for 5.0+ divisions.
A Premier Event in New Jersey
Set to be the largest pickleball event in the state this year, the tournament welcomes men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles players. Players from all skill levels—2.5 to 5.0+—and age groups including 19+, 35+, 50+, 60+, and 70+ will compete.
The event will follow a round-robin format for all brackets. If fewer than four teams are registered in a division, organizers will combine groups of the same skill level. However, medals and qualification slots will still be awarded by skill and age.
Registration and Entry Costs
Registration is open until July 9, 2025, at 8:00 AM EST. The cost to enter is $65, with additional fees of $15 for each skill or age event and $35 for each 5.0+ open event. A $5 processing fee applies through PickleballBrackets.com. All fees are per player, not per team.
Exciting Competition Ahead
All matches will be held on the dedicated pickleball courts at Veterans Park. With national qualification spots on the line and competitive brackets expected, the tournament promises three days of exciting play and community spirit. The $5,000 prize pool will be split among the top finishers in the 5.0+ events.
Building Momentum for the Nationals
As an official qualifier for the 2025 PPA Nationals, this event gives players an important chance to secure their spot in one of the sport’s top competitions. Whether they are seasoned pros or rising amateurs, competitors will find both challenge and opportunity in Hamilton this July.
