Dallas Classic Pickleball Tournament 2025: Pickleball players from across the country are getting ready for the Dallas Classic, scheduled to run from July 25 to July 27, 2025, at Pickler Universe in Carrollton, Texas. The event will be held at 2800 North Interstate 35E. Registration costs $105 and ends on July 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM CST.
Amateur matches will be held alongside Championship Court, where Major League Pickleball teams will compete. This gives amateur players a chance to play where the pros play. The tournament will follow a Professional Pickleball Association (PPA)-style bracket format for all amateur divisions.
Match Formats for All Skill Levels
Players in skill levels 5.0 and 4.5 will compete in double elimination brackets. Once a team loses, they can only compete for a bronze medal and not for gold. These matches will be best two out of three games to 11 points, win by 2. Consolation matches will be one game to 15 points.
If there are fewer than six teams in a division, that group will play in a round-robin format. For skill levels 4.0, 3.5, and 3.0, different round-robin formats will apply depending on the number of teams. Playoffs and medals will be awarded based on results.
Organizers may combine events based on the number of players, skill, or age groups to ensure a fun and fair competition. DUPR ratings will be used for seeding. Match formats may also change if bad weather causes delays.
Junior, Moneyball, and Prize Brackets
Junior players will have their own brackets. If eight or more players register, they will follow a double-elimination format. Fewer players will play in a round-robin style. Matches will follow the same scoring system as the adult events.
The $1,000 Money Ball PPA bracket is open to coed teams with individual ratings of 7.0 or lower. Both gender and mixed doubles matches will be played in this category. Registration is $75 per person and limited to 16 teams. First place wins $600, and second place wins $400.
Partner registration rules are strict. If a partner is not registered within seven days, the team will be moved to the waitlist. If a player loses a partner after registration closes, they must replace them with a registered player from the same group. All partner changes must be completed by 6:00 PM the day before the event.
Refund and Insurance Policies
The last day to cancel and still receive a refund (minus a $25 fee) is June 27, 2025. After this date, refunds are only given if the Registration and Weather Insurance Policy has been purchased. This insurance also protects entry fees if an event is canceled due to weather.
Partner replacements and changes will not be allowed after main draw brackets are finalized. For qualifiers, changes are allowed until 6:00 PM the day before the event.
