PPA Tour Asia MB Vietnam Open 2025: The PPA Tour Asia MB Vietnam Open 2025 will take place from September 4–7, 2025, at Global City Sports Park in Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament was officially launched with MB named as the presenting partner at an event in Hanoi. It will be the biggest pickleball tournament held in Vietnam, marking a key moment in the sport’s rise across Asia.
Vietnamese Star Returns Home
All eyes will be on Trinh Giang, Vietnam’s first international pickleball champion. He became a national hero after winning the PPA Tour Asia Panas Malaysia Open.
“I can’t wait to play on home soil with the best crowd we have here in Vietnam! I will give my best representing the Vietnamese flag and my team! Vamos!” said Trinh Giang. “Playing before my home fans will be the honor of my career.”
He will compete alongside other top Vietnamese athletes, including Ken Tam and Sophia Tran, in the Open category of the tournament.

Organizers believe the tournament will help develop pickleball at all levels in the country.

More Than Just a Competition
Fans at the MB Vietnam Open will get more than just matches. The event will include clinics with pro players, skill games with prizes, and a Fan Zone with meet-and-greets. These extras aim to turn fans into active participants in the experience. Registration begins on July 29.

The PPA Tour Asia follows a three-tier system: Slam, Cup, and Open. Points from each event go toward players’ overall rankings as they compete for the top spot in Asia.
