Professional Pickleball Association Partnership: Compass Health Brands has announced that Picklebalm™, a pain relief product made for pickleball players, is now the official topical pain reliever of the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour. The partnership starts with the 2025-2026 season and will appear in over 17 tournaments nationwide.
A Targeted Partnership for Players
Picklebalm™ will now be featured at key events through special displays, sideline banners, VIP lounge placements, and at Pickleball Central Stores. It will also be promoted online through social media, digital ads, emails, and the PPA Tour’s official website.
George Killebrew, Chief Revenue Officer for the PPA Tour, said,
“The PPA Tour welcomes thousands of pickleball athletes – both professionals and amateurs – to each of our tour stops throughout the year, and the partnership with Picklebalm will ensure each of them has the opportunity to feel their best on the court.”
Relief Made Just for Pickleball
Picklebalm™ was created to meet the needs of pickleball players. It uses a special C.A.L.M. formula that includes Cucumber Seed Extract, Arnica, 4% Lidocaine, and Menthol. This mix helps ease pain quickly without affecting grip or movement during matches.
Tony West, Senior Vice President of Retail at Compass Health Brands, explained the idea behind the product:
“We understand the passion pickleball players have for the sport—it’s fun, social, competitive, and a fantastic workout. However, we also recognize the toll it can take on the body. That’s why we developed Picklebalm™, to soothe your pain and keep you playing. This partnership with the PPA allows us to reach players exactly where they are—at the tournaments, on the courts, and in the community.”
Reaching the Community at Every Level
The first big promotional event for Picklebalm™ will be at the Las Vegas PPA stop from August 25 to 31 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The campaign will highlight the slogan “Play More. Hurt Less.” It aims to show how Picklebalm™ helps players of all ages enjoy longer time on the court.
George Killebrew added,
“Athlete wellness is a top priority for the PPA Tour, and Picklebalm is a fantastic product that meets the unique needs of pickleball players of all skill levels.”
The product is designed for players of all ages—those 25-35 who play competitively, 35-54 who play often, and 55+ who enjoy the game for exercise and fun.
Tony West added,
“Picklebalm™ is not just another pain relief product; it’s a game-changer for anyone who loves pickleball. We’re excited to help players maximize their enjoyment of the game, no matter their age or skill level. This partnership validates what we’ve known from day one—there’s a massive community of players who need better solutions.”
Designed for Performance and Comfort
Picklebalm™ is different from regular pain relief products. It comes in bright blue and green packaging and has a light scent made with green tea and sage. This makes it feel more like a sports product and less like a medical item. Players don’t have to worry about strong smells while on the court or socializing.
The product is available in three forms:
A balm stick for easy use without touching the product
A roll-on for quick use between games
A cream for deeper pain relief that can be massaged into the skin
All three are fast-absorbing, sweat-proof, and non-greasy—perfect for active players.
Growing with the Game
Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S., with more than 19.8 million players across the country. According to the Sports and Fitness Industry Association, participation has grown 311% in the past three years.
This makes now the perfect time for Picklebalm™ to become part of the PPA Tour. The product meets the growing demand for recovery tools that fit the sport’s unique needs.
