Veolia Bristol Open Pickleball Debut: The Carvana Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour has announced that the LT Pro 48 Pickleball will now be the official ball used in all its tournaments. The ball will make its debut at the Veolia Bristol Open in Bristol next week. It was developed by Life Time, a major fitness and lifestyle company in the U.S., along with its Founder, Chairman, and CEO Bahram Akradi and his engineering team. The new ball is designed to solve common problems faced by players, such as poor bounce and short lifespan.
A New Ball for All Conditions
The LT Pro 48 is made for both indoor and outdoor play. It promises steady bounce and flight, even in tough weather. The ball has strong durability, with new features like evenly spaced holes and smooth edges. These help stop the ball from cracking and help it fly better.

Since 2021, we’ve committed to elevating and growing this sport and, with the LT Pro 48, we identified a problem and addressed it by engineering a ball that bounces truer and lasts longer, holding up under the stress of professional play.”

The ball stands out because of its smart design. It has holes that are spread out evenly, which helps with balance. The edges are shaped in a special way to stop breaking or warping during hard matches. These changes fix two main issues players had: strange bounces and balls wearing out quickly.

Tennis legend Andre Agassi was recently named the first Chair of the Life Time Pickleball and Tennis Board. His role will help the company grow the sport, improve programs, and build stronger communities.
