PPA Tour Veolia Cincinnati Showcase: The PPA Tour will host the Veolia Cincinnati Showcase presented by Six Zero from September 8 to 14, 2025, at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. Players of all levels will compete, while fans get the chance to watch the sport’s top professionals, including Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns.
Playing Beside the Pros
Amateur players will play their matches alongside Championship Court, where professionals will battle for some of the sport’s biggest payouts. The event allows recreational athletes to share the same venue with world champions.
Spectators can expect world-class competition since the PPA Tour has exclusive contracts with the best professionals in the sport, including women’s world No. 1 Anna Leigh Waters and men’s world No. 1 Ben Johns.
PPA Tour Camp
A special two-day PPA Tour Camp will run on September 9 and 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. each day for players rated 3.0 and 4.0. The camp costs $400 per person and includes six hours of training with PPA professionals, a courtside ticket, and discounts on Pickleball Central gear.
Refunds for the camp are available only if requested at least 30 days before the event. Cancellations within 15 to 30 days will get a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days or less will not be refunded.
Amateur and Junior Formats
Amateur divisions will be separated by skill levels. Players rated 5.0 and 4.5 will compete in double elimination with no chance to return for gold after a loss. Matches will generally follow a best-of-three format to 11 points.
Lower skill levels (3.0 to 4.0) will often play round robin formats with or without playoffs, depending on the number of teams. Pools and brackets will be seeded by DUPR ratings.
Junior divisions will also follow double elimination for larger draws and round robin formats for smaller ones. Gold and bronze medal matches will use standard best-of-three scoring.
Senior Open Format
Senior Open matches will use double elimination. Main draw matches will be best-of-three to 11 points, while consolation matches will be played to 15. Smaller brackets will switch to round robin play with winners determined by matches won and point differentials.
Pro Division Format
Registration for professional events closes on September 1, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Gold Card PPA professionals will receive automatic entry into the main draws. Players outside the PPA Top 50 rankings may enter qualifiers.
Qualifying matches will begin September 8 and follow a best-of-three format to 11 points. The main draw will run from September 9 to 14, starting with Round of 64 matches and ending with gold and bronze medal contests on Sunday. Gold medal doubles finals will be played best-of-five, while singles will remain best-of-three.
Money Ball Event
A $1,000 Money Ball bracket will also take place. It is open to players under a 6.0 rating but excludes contracted PPA professionals. Teams will compete in double elimination, and registration is limited to 16 teams. The winning pair will earn $600, and second place will receive $400.
Registration and Refunds
General registration costs $125 and closes September 6 at 5:00 p.m. Refunds are available until August 11, minus a $25 fee. After that date, refunds will only be given if players purchase Registration and Weather Insurance.
