Mack Doubles Up in Florida
Luca Mack had a strong showing, winning men’s singles and men’s doubles. He secured the singles crown with a three-game win over Connor Mogle in the final, marking his second singles title on the Challenger Tour.
In doubles, Mack teamed with Anouar Braham to defeat Mikael Vollbach and Bruno Faletto for the gold medal. The win added to Mack’s growing success on the circuit.
Walker Dominates with Two Titles
Angie Walker also captured two gold medals over the weekend. She paired with her sister Alex Walker to win women’s doubles against Danna Funaro and Zoey Weil. The victory was their second women’s doubles title this season.
Walker then teamed up with James Delgado in mixed doubles. The pair battled through three games to defeat Alex Walker and Ryan Fu. The victory gave Angie Walker her second mixed doubles title of the year and James Delgado his third. Walker will continue her momentum by competing with both partners at this week’s Veolia Cincinnati Showcase presented by Six Zero.
Mendez Extends Winning Streak
Seone Mendez once again proved tough to beat in singles play. She earned an 11-2, 12-10 win over Kelsey Laurente in the women’s singles final, claiming back-to-back Challenger singles titles. Mendez has already qualified for the main draw in Ohio, where she will continue her strong run.
