PPA Tour Mixed Doubles Quarterfinals: The mixed doubles quarterfinals at the PPA Tour’s Veolia Cincinnati Showcase presented by Six Zero were held on September 12, 2025, in Mason, Ohio. Four teams advanced to the semifinals: Anna Leigh Waters with Ben Johns, Jessie Irvine with Gabriel Tardio, Anna Bright with Andrei Daescu, and siblings Jw Johnson with Jorja Johnson.

Bright and Daescu Stay Strong Against Black and Patriquin

Johnson Siblings Win Tight Match

The day’s closest match came from Jw Johnson and Jorja Johnson. Facing Etta Tuionetoa and Federico Staksrud, the siblings took the first game 11-8 but dropped the second 8-11. They bounced back to win the third game 11-3, securing their place in the semifinals.
