James Ignatowich and Augustus Ge advanced to the men’s doubles final at the PPA Tour Pickleball Central Sacramento Vintage Open on September 27, 2025, in Sacramento, California. The duo defeated No. 6 seeds Riley Newman and Jay Devilliers in straight games, winning 11–8 and 11–4 to move within one victory of the gold medal.

Ignatowich and Ge Dominate Semifinal

Ignatowich and Ge controlled the match with aggressive play and sharp volleys. They took the first game 11–8 by forcing quick exchanges at the net and limiting errors. In the second game, their confidence grew as they raced to an 11–4 win, shutting down the experienced team of Newman and Devilliers, who had eliminated No. 3 seeds Noe Khlif and Gabe Tardio in the previous round.
