Tournament Format
The Southwest Regional Showdown follows the MLPlay format, where teams of four players (2 women and 2 men) compete in an engaging setup. Each match includes four 21-point games—women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles.
If the score is tied 2-2, teams move to a Dreambreaker. In this tiebreaker, one player from each team competes in singles, switching every four rallies until a player reaches 21 points with a two-point lead.

Saturday, October 5:
- DUPR 20: Team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 20.30
- DUPR 16: Team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 16.30
- DUPR 12: Team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 12.30
- Maximum individual player DUPR 3.60
Sunday, October 6:
- DUPR 22: Team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 22.99
- DUPR 18: Team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 18.30
- DUPR 14: Team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 14.30
- Maximum individual player DUPR 4.10
Prizes & Dream Ticket
- Medals: 1st through 3rd place teams will receive official Minor League 2024 Regional Medals.
- Dream Ticket: The gold medalist team earns a Dream Ticket to the National Championship, guaranteeing a spot in their qualified division, provided all four original team members are present. Teams can substitute up to two players if necessary. If a top team cannot attend with at least two original members, the 2nd place team will be offered their Dream Ticket.
Registration & Requirements
- Registration: A DUPR account is required to sign up. Players must join the InPickle Nation DUPR Digital Club and have the SWISH App linked to DUPR.
- Single Registrations: Notate team name and DUPR division. If a team cannot be formed, the tournament director will assist in placement, with refunds for unplaced players.
- Substitute Players: Submit substitute details to the tournament director. Substitute player’s DUPR must not exceed the event’s aggregate limit.
