Event Format
The United Pickleball State Championship (UPSC) is a premier series of tournaments held across all 50 states. Gold Medalists from each state tournament will receive an invitation to the year-end United States Championship in Dallas, TX, with all event fees waived.
Champions Division
Gold medalists from state championships are eligible for a complimentary event fee to the United States Championship in Dallas, TX, taking place from November 4th to 9th. This reward acknowledges excellence in the Champions Division and ensures top-level competition.

Registration Details
- Early Registration: $55 + event fees
- Regular Registration: $60 + event fees
- All Doubles Events: $15 each
- All Singles Events: $30 each
Players will use the “World Pickleball” rating (WPR) from their profile. If unavailable, the “Pickleball Brackets” rating (PBR) will be used. Self-rating should not be lower than their DUPR or UTPR.
Format Details
- Round Robin with Playoffs:
Pool play followed by playoffs for the top teams (usually the top 4).- Double Round Robin: Games to 15, win by 2 for 3 teams.
- Games: 1 to 15, win by 2 for brackets with 4, 5, or 6 teams.
- Games: 1 to 11, win by 2 for brackets with 6 or 7 teams.
- 8 or more teams: Split into pools, top 2 teams advance to playoffs.
Additional Information
Pickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at any time. The Tournament Director may combine and adjust brackets as needed.
