Tournament Details
As a qualifier for the 2024 Nationals, organized by the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), the Beach Blast promises competitive play of the highest caliber. The event will utilize the impressive facilities at Sea Colony Tennis and Pickleball, which includes 20 outdoor courts and indoor options should weather conditions require an adjustment.
Event Schedule
- Friday, October 4, 2024: Men’s & Women’s Singles (Full Court)
- Saturday, October 5, 2024: Men’s and Women’s Doubles
- Sunday, October 6, 2024: Mixed Doubles
Competitors will compete in various skill levels (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0) and age divisions (18u, 19-34, 35-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). In instances where fewer than six teams are registered, groups will be combined with another group of the same skill level. The tournament will prioritize skill levels before age divisions for medals and national qualifications. The Tournament Director retains the authority to modify the playing format if necessary.
Refund Policy and Weather Contingency
Refunds will be processed until September 20, 2024, with a $10.00 administrative fee deducted. The event is designated as “Rain or Shine.” In the event of rain, matches will be moved indoors at Sea Colony, with potential adjustments to starting times in the afternoon.
