Registration & Event Fees
Participation in the Paragon Open requires a USA Pickleball Membership valid through October 20, 2024. Pickleball players must register for one event per day, and registration fees vary depending on when you sign up:
- Early Bird Registration ($49): May 15 – August 16, 2024
- Normal Registration ($69): August 17 – October 4, 2024
- Last Call Registration ($75): October 5 – October 10, 2024

Matches will be uploaded to DUPR except for Open and Senior Open events.
Tournament Structure
The Paragon Open offers a range of singles and doubles events for amateur and open-level players, with categories spanning from 2.5 to 4.5 & Open/Senior Open levels. The tournament structure is designed to ensure fairness and competitiveness:
- Event Formats:
- 1-2 Doubles Teams/Singles Players: Combined with the closest appropriate skill/age event (Medals awarded for original registered event).
- 3 Doubles Teams/Singles Players: Double round robin with no playoffs or combined with the closest event.
- 4-5 Doubles Teams/Singles Players: Round robin with 1st & 2nd place advancing to GOLD Medal Match.
- 6-7 Doubles Teams/Singles Players: True round robin with/without playoffs or double elimination.
- 8 or More Doubles Teams/Singles Players: Split pool groups round robin with playoff bracket for GOLD & BRONZE or double elimination.
- Match Formats:
- 1 game to 11 points (win by 2)
- 1 game to 15 points (win by 2)
- 1 game to 21 points (win by 2)
- 2 out of 3 games to 11 points (win by 2)
The Tournament Director retains the discretion to adjust event or match formats due to unforeseen circumstances.

Prize Money & Gift Prizes
Prize money will be awarded to gold, silver, and bronze medalists in Open and Senior Open level doubles and singles events, including Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Open level doubles. Additionally, all gold medalists outside of these events will receive gift prizes.

Refund Policy
Players may withdraw and receive a full refund minus a processing fee if they cancel before registration closes. However, once registration closes, no refunds will be granted. The detailed refund policy includes:
- 0-1 match played: Full refund minus $10 processing
- 2 matches played: Event fee refunded only
- 3 matches or more played: No refund
Weather-related refunds will follow specific guidelines, and all qualifying refunds will be processed within two weeks post-tournament.
