Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher Surge to Final at PPA Rate Las Vegas Championships

Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher Surge to Final at PPA: For the third consecutive tournament, Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher are set to clash with Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau for the women’s doubles title. After witnessing the top-seeded duo’s victory over Jade Kawamoto and Jackie Kawamoto in the first semifinal, the No. 2 seeds made their statement with a commanding 11-3, 11-0 win over Lea Jansen and Lucy Kovalova at the PPA Rate Las Vegas Championships.

A Battle of Adjustments

Bright and Rohrabacher, the only team to have ever defeated Waters and Parenteau, enter this match with a mixed history against the top seeds. They have split their last two encounters, winning over them earlier in 2024 at the Atlanta tournament, only to fall short in Virginia Beach last week.

Rohrabacher emphasized the importance of making the right adjustments as they pursue their seventh title of the year.

“They adjusted their game plan last time, so it’s time for us to sit down and do the same.” – (Rohrabacher)

With Dekel Bar, Rohrabacher’s MLP teammate from the D.C. Pickleball Team, joining them on the bench, the duo believes they have a significant advantage this time around.
