Women’s Mixed Doubles Rankings: The final event of the 2024 Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) regular season in Milwaukee marked the conclusion of an exciting campaign. But even after the last ball was hit, the anticipation didn’t end. The top-ranked players, who had earned their spots in the year-end CIBC PPA Tour Finals, gathered the next day for a crucial Zoom conference call. To determine their doubles partners for the championship event, which will take place from December 4th-8th in San Clemente, California.
Qualifying for the Finals
Qualification for the Tour Finals was based on performance throughout the season. The top eight singles players and the top 16 doubles players in each division earned their invitation to the prestigious event.
Once qualified, the players participated in a partner draft, selecting their doubles teammates one by one, based on their rankings at the close of the regular season.
The draft results were revealed by Dave Fleming via the PPA’s YouTube channel on November 19, 2024, and the list was published shortly thereafter, sparking plenty of conversation and speculation.
