Mari Humberg and Rachel Rohrabacher: The journey to the CIBC PPA Tour Finals is one of continuous improvement, and the women’s doubles field has seen some remarkable climbers in 2024. With only the top players qualifying for the season-ending event, it’s no surprise that familiar faces like Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau are at the top. Mari Humberg: A Slice-Centric Rise

Mari Humberg’s rapid rise in the women’s doubles rankings has been one of the most exciting stories of 2024. Her development as a left-side player has allowed her signature slice-centric style to shine. Humberg has earned four PPA women’s doubles medals this season, all with partner Jorja Johnson.

As the season progresses, Humberg is looking to continue her momentum, teaming up with Jessie Irvine for the finals, while Johnson will join forces with Lacy Schneemann.

Rachel Rohrabacher: Dominating Doubles with Anna Bright

Rachel Rohrabacher continues to prove why she’s one of the most formidable players in women’s doubles. She and Anna Bright have been a dominant force in 2024, earning 14 medals together. Most notably, they are the only team to have defeated Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau, doing so three times.

Rohrabacher also showed her versatility by earning a bronze medal with Jorja Johnson in Las Vegas. As she and Bright head into the finals, they’re ready to continue their impressive run.
