Amateur Event Format
For skill levels 5.0 and 4.5, players will compete in a double elimination format with no “come-around,” meaning that once a team loses, the best they can achieve is a bronze. All other divisions, with more than 12 teams or players, will follow a similar double-elimination format. Matches will be played to 11 points, win by 2.
For skill levels 4.0, 3.5, and 3.0, there will be round-robin play leading to playoffs, with varying formats based on the number of teams. Depending on the team count, there will be a combination of single round-robin or double elimination, with matches played to 15 points in round-robin play.
Pro Format: Elite Competition
The pro format follows a single-elimination structure, with the semifinal losers playing in a bronze medal match. All matches will be played in a best-of-three format to 11 points, win by 2.
There will be no back draw or bonus matches, and only the gold and bronze medal matches will be played in this format. The Vulcan VPro Flight Outdoor ball is the official ball for the tournament.
