Pickleball Event Format and Structure

The amateur format for skill and age events is a unique feature of this tournament, with specific details for each skill level:

  • 5.0 and 4.5 skill levels will play in a Double Elimination with No Come-Around format, with matches played to 11 points, win by 2, in the main draw and consolation rounds.
  • For lower skill levels (4.0, 3.5 & 3.0), events with more than 12 teams or players will follow Double Elimination with No Come-Around. If fewer than 12 teams are present, a Round Robin with Playoffs format is used.

Brackets/Pools are seeded based on the DUPR Rating to ensure fair and competitive play across the board. In some cases, events may be combined or altered depending on the number of registered players.

Pro Format and Prize Money

At the pro level, the main draw will be single elimination, with the finals consisting of a best of three to 11 points, win by 2 format. The bronze medal match will also follow the same format. No back draws or PPA points will be awarded during this event, making every match crucial for the professionals competing for the top spots.
