“When I played my first-ever pickleball tournament I did it for fun! Pickleball was a sport I played because I loved it, not because I thought I could go pro in it!” – (Anna Leigh Waters)

“I watched Ben Johns rack up triples like it was nothing, and I hoped one day that I could win just 1 triple crown!” Waters said, acknowledging the influence of Johns on her drive to succeed.

Now, almost seven years later, Waters has reached the pinnacle of pickleball success, winning her 30th Triple Crown title. “Here I am almost 7 years later, winning my 30th Triple Crown to end the 2024 season!” she shared with a sense of pride and humility.

Her success at the PPA Tour Finals is not just a personal milestone but a testament to her relentless determination and skill on the court. With each victory, Waters has solidified herself as one of the sport’s brightest stars, a player with a future as bright as her past achievements.
