Nationwide Competition for All Players
The PPA Challenger Series invites players from across the country to compete in a range of events, from amateur brackets to professional matchups. Pro Division participants can earn valuable PPA Tour ranking points based on their tournament performance. Winners of each Challenger Pro event will also secure entry into the main draw of one PPA Tour Open event.
The 2025 calendar promises widespread participation with tournaments held in 18 different states, giving players from various regions the chance to join the competition.
Ranking System Rewards Top Performers
The PPA Challenger Rankings are updated after every tournament, reflecting points earned over the past 52 weeks and the current calendar year. Players accumulate points based on their performance, with the top 16 finishing events counting toward their leaderboard ranking.
Winners of Challenger events earn 125 points, with lower placements earning fewer points in a tiered structure. Points earned are as follows:
- 1st place: 125 points
- 2nd place: 100 points
- 3rd place: 75 points
- Quarterfinalists: 25 points
Top-ranked players will qualify for the prestigious PPA Challenger Showdown in Dallas, where they will compete for coveted PPA Tour contracts.
Opportunities for Rising Stars
This system not only rewards consistency but also provides an entry path for rising stars to compete at the highest level.
