Fayetteville’s Pickleball Showdown: The Rotary Club of Fayetteville will host the Battle for the Paddle Pickleball Tournament on April 12–13, 2025. The two-day event welcomes players of all ages and will be divided into two divisions—ages 50+ and under 49—playing concurrently. Registration costs $55.
The tournament is part of the club’s annual charity fundraiser and aims to bring players together for friendly competition while supporting local causes. The event is open to the public and designed to be both fun and high quality, attracting participants from across the region.
Divisions and Schedule
Play begins at 8:00 a.m. each day and ends by 5:00 p.m. Games will be divided by age: those 50 and older will compete in one tournament, while players 49 and younger will take part in a separate one at the same time. All events will run over the weekend.
“This tournament will include all ages with the 50+ playing in one tournament, and the 49 and below playing in another one concurrently.”
Support and Participation
Organizers welcome both players and sponsors to take part in the tournament. The event helps raise funds for several local and international service efforts, but the competition itself will focus on pickleball action for all skill levels and age groups.
“We appreciate your participation as players in this great tournament and/or as sponsors!”
Why It Matters
The Battle for the Paddle brings together pickleball enthusiasts in a well-organized and age-friendly format. With both younger and senior players in action, the event helps promote active living and friendly competition. It also serves as a key fundraiser for the Rotary Club’s many charitable activities.
