Tournament Details and Format
The event takes place at Pickleball Play 365 and features a round-robin format followed by bracket play. Each player is guaranteed six or more games. Medal matches will be played in a best two-of-three sets format. The Franklin X40 ball will be used throughout the event.
Pickleball Play 365 confirmed, “Early bird registration is live with the coupon code ‘Play365’ available for $10 off from now until May 28 at 8AM OR until the first 100 players complete registration.”
Divisions and Scheduling
The tournament includes men’s and women’s doubles on Saturday, mixed doubles on Sunday, and singles on either day. A new OPEN division has been added for advanced players. It offers $2,000 in cash prizes for men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. This division is capped at 14 teams per category.
Pickleball Play 365 stated, “2025 events now include an OPEN Cash Prize division for men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles with $2000 in cash prizes on the line for each! This event is capped at 14 teams…if you’re a high level team it’s time to lock in and grab that cash!”
New Player Rewards with PicklePerks
This year’s tournament introduces PicklePerks, a new rewards system. Players earn points with every registration and win during tournament play. These points can be redeemed for APA apparel or future event entries.
According to organizers, “PicklePerks has arrived! Every player will now earn PicklePerks rewards with every event registration and victory during tournament play. Use those earnings to purchase APA apparel or apply them towards future events.”
Additionally, tournament results will be automatically posted to DUPR, helping players track their performance and progress.
