USA Pickleball’s 100K Dollar Grant: Transforming Communities with New Courts

USA Pickleball Grant Program: USA Pickleball Serves has opened applications for its first-ever ‘Play It Forward’ Grant Program, offering $50,000 each to two community organizations for building or converting pickleball courts. Applications are open from April 15 to June 3, with winners announced on August 8, National Pickleball Day.

Program Supports New Places to Play

USA Pickleball Serves, the charitable branch of USA Pickleball (USAP), created the grant to help more communities gain access to permanent pickleball courts.
“USA Pickleball Serves ‘Play it Forward’ Grant was developed to support community organizations invested in creating more places to play in underserved communities and heavily populated player communities,” said Brenda Puga, USA Pickleball’s Director of Community Relations. USA Pickleball Serves is committed to increasing court access and promoting the sport of pickleball throughout the country.”

Two organizations will each receive $50,000. The grant aims to fund projects that will install or convert public, dedicated pickleball courts. Projects must be completed within 12 months of receiving the funds.

Requirements and Important Dates

Applicants must be based in the United States or its territories. They must have a physical office in the local area and align with USA Pickleball Serves’ mission.
The pickleball courts must be permanent and located at public facilities. They must also feature permanent USA Pickleball Serves branding and host a ribbon-cutting event.
Organizations must work with a local USA Pickleball Ambassador or Committee Member throughout the project.

Applications opened on Tuesday, April 15, and will close on Tuesday, June 3. Winners will be announced on Friday, August 8, which is National Pickleball Day.
