The California Pickleball Championships, part of the USA Pickleball Golden Ticket series, will take place from June 25 to June 29, 2025, at The HUB Pickleball Club in Campbell, California. Gold medalists at this indoor event will earn a Golden Ticket to the 2025 BIOFREEZE USA Pickleball National Championships in San Diego.
Hosted at the HUB Sports Complex, the five-day tournament will feature skill and age-based brackets for players rated from UTR-P 3.0 to UTR-P 5.0. Players with a UTR-P rating of 6.0 or higher are not eligible to compete.
Tournament Schedule and Details
The tournament includes a full schedule of doubles, singles, and mixed doubles:
Wednesday, June 25: Men’s/Women’s Doubles for ages 55+ to 80+
Thursday, June 26: Mixed Doubles for ages 55+ to 80+
Friday, June 27: Men’s/Women’s Singles for ages 19+ to 80+
Saturday, June 28: Men’s/Women’s Doubles for ages 19+ to 50+
Sunday, June 29: Mixed Doubles for ages 19+ to 50+
Each player is guaranteed four games. All brackets will follow a round-robin format. Most matches will be played to 15 points, win by two. Medal matches will be best-of-three games to 11 points, except in three-team brackets.
Age and Skill Guidelines
Brackets for players under age 65 will be grouped by skill level. Brackets for players aged 65 and older will be sorted by age and skill. The event follows USA Pickleball’s MMP sanctioning rules.
Players are responsible for finding their own partners. Tournament officials may combine brackets if needed due to court or staffing limits.

Franklin is the official ball sponsor of the UTR Sports Pickleball Amateur Series. The HUB Pickleball Club is located at 600 East Hamilton Avenue, Suite 150, in Campbell, California.
While registration has closed, this tournament is expected to be a major showcase for competitive pickleball in California, especially with all matches being refereed.
