Making Courts Safer and Cooler
USA SHADE will now work with USA Pickleball to add shade structures to pickleball courts around the country. These coverings help lower court temperatures by up to 25 degrees and protect players from sun exposure.

Pickleball has grown quickly. The Sports & Fitness Industry Association reported a 51.8% increase in players from 2022 to 2023. The sport now includes people of all ages, but older adults—who face more heat-related risks—make up 85% of all injuries.
